A good game nonetheless...

It was pretty good. I don't know why I keep playing, but that is a good sign, however in the three separate times I've played, I've never found her. Maybe it is my luck, but this last time, I cleared the WHOLE map and never found her. I even completed all the side quests to end up with a city that said Anna was no where to be found. It was very discouraging.

Repetitiveness:
My gripes come with the game's repetitiveness. The music never changed, and although fitting, was also maddening. The clues all basically said the same thing, giving no reason to actually read them. Again, this last time, I read through every clue I possessed, 64 of them, in a vain hope to find one that says "Anna was spotted nearby here." There were very few storyline clues, and even then, there was no reward to it. The guns and weapons were all fairly similar aside from ammo limits and certain properties. No one weapon was able to deal more damage unless it was of an explosive device. So... I ended up having a shot gun, and three assault rifles with me in the end. Though randomly generated, each city was pretty much the same with a slight difference.

Gameplay Quirks:
What irritated me, until I figured out the reason as to why it happened, was the placement of the rope ladders. It was frustrating not being able to toss a rope ladder on the run and escape up it when there are a few restrictions to it, like another rope ladder above it or an opening. Another problem was turning and shooting. It was sticky and I found myself unable to face the right direction and shoot. I'd have to turn, wait, then fire. When surrounded by zombies, being able to have control over your character makes a big difference. Sometimes I'd find myself walking backwards and shooting.

It was a good game though. There is still room for polishing, especially the fact that there is no guarantee that you WILL find her. I kind of felt like I wasted an hour chasing after a dream. Dad should've known Anna was a zombie too.

Needs a bit more balancing.

Its an okay game... slow... not very appealing in customizability, plus it seems you concentrated more on graphics than acctual gameplay. Games are a three-legged table. One leg is the graphics, the second is the game-play/story, and the third is the sound.

Good graphics, very cool and it really shows effort. But everything else lacks in so many places. For one thing, there is no "back-up" button except for in the arena. The spinning character thing is cool, but could have been better executed. It would be nice if you added something to help reduce the damage of your opponent, like improved dodge stats or something. The only upgradable thing was the knife, but thats it. plus the first two rooms were practically useless, esspecially the hallway, and Stab-club entrance. The hallway just adds fustration to the player as he struggles to control the odd man, and artificially lengthens gametime. Though the additonal rooms add a material touch to the game, they are pratically useless here. If you took out those rooms, you might have even received the same score.

The stab arena was a bit fun though. I wish there was more flow, and dynamics to it, but I'm quite satisfied with how it plays so far. Again, the bugs and hard difficutly level will get the player very frustrated... which explains some of the previous reviews left here out of spite. Next time a beta would be best before submitting? Plus I'd hope to see some sort of story... you were designing this game to be an adventure game before it turned into this after all.

no level 50, And u built up all that suspence for nothing. This was a terrifc, and addictive game. I couldn't stop playing. I wish there was some sort of reward at the end like, bonus levels, or bonus balls. I'm glad there is no life count cuz i woulda lost at level 6 by then. Great game, make more!

Extremely well done game!

I love it!! its so smooth and easy to play. Altho the controls are a bit tough, they easy to use. The graphics are phenominal! Gameplay is outta this world! That never-ending hall took me awhile to figure out... very clever. Keeping that lil girl safe also adds another dimension to the frantic action of the game. The ending could've been more rewarding, and what i mean by that is the ending sceen could've been longer, i like that... -ahem-.... SECRET BONUS after i finished the game. I can't wait the see the second one!

i like the concept, and the perspective was well done. The main character could use a bit more detail. But there were so MAJOR bugs. Like the fact that the enemies bullets failed to collide with me, the time kept ticking even after i died and had to go to the first level, when u did run out of time the clock stayed at midnight and u had to reload the game completely, the controls were a bit sticky, and for some reason i got to the last boss and rescued everyone i passed by but it said i didn't save everyone and i had to restart because it apparently killed me without even moving. Improve the graphics, controls, and the bugs and u have a front page game. Good luck!

OH MY GOD!!!!!

Love at first site isn't reserved for just ppl ya know? And this is one of those magnificent games that overall is the greatest things i've experienced, that makes me fall in love with such games. The speed on this game was perfect everything moved so fluently, the boss was pretty fun too. I thought i was supposed to smite the evil creature with my elemently attackt but NO! I shall choke the creature instead! HAHA! The ending was nicely done also, the fact that u did that lil skit that would remind ppl of ur early animations was pretty cool. The music fit the mood perfectly, and it was simple like the character designs and overall look. That type of music is the kind of thing you'd expect in this game. The animation on this thing was perfect and it gave all the characters a 3-d sort of feel, esspecially if you looked at the dragon flying. Narration was pretty funny also. All the moves can be used so nicely together, to create an awsome sneak strategy. This game just felt a lot shorter then the orignial one, I wish there was more. Also there isn't much use to the staff's powers due to the lack of the of enemies. Nicely done neck-snapping move btw. This is the first flash i ever gave perfect 10's to and you deserved it!

nice game

well its a metroid flash version game, and the speed is just right. but the controls are really slippery. Samus would slide if i ran too fast and when i jumped she'd keep moving. yeah sure the high jump was useful for getting out of certain situations, but due to the controls, it was a major pain. esspecially the fact that u can jump through platforms and get hit by the enemy standing on that platform. The amount of enemies available was also unimpressive, what theres about 6 enemies total? (counting bosses) The bosses are way too easy also, since there was always a safe place to camp-out it was useless. Ridley was also not to expectations, i expected a big-mega-hard boss battle but what i got is a bird-like thing attacking the ground with its tail when it was aiming for me. It also had a really bad aim, the fireballs that Ridley fired were way off target. I like the fact that u keep time of how long it took u to complete the game. I finished it in 1319.4 seconds. so what, 21.99 minutes? The time bomb stuff was a good addition cuz i was like oh S**T!! But with that dash power it was waaay too easy. The menus and such could use a.... can't think of a word, ah hell, a make-over i guess u can say.

Extremely well done game!

man i love this game so much. its simply incredible, the coding for this thing must be so intricate and well thought out. There are a few things i witnessed though. I was at like lvl 8 or so with enough stars to max out two stats i decided to turn it off but i left a few stars out and didn't include them in any of my stats, when i came back they were GONE! and sometimes when i fell to the bottom i didn't take any damage, not that thats not bad or anything =). Also the boss in the woods was funny, using a babies voice for a giant man-eating plant lol. The characters u get to play as are all very diverse with their own speciality stats and stuff. Its a very hard and fun game, i could never get past that dragon boss. hm... let' see...did i leave out anything? Nope guess not anyways i love the game 4/5 and into my fav's!

i finally know how to do that print screen thing now lol thx! Well besides the fact that u revealed such ancient magiks to me this flash was pretty good. but of course not everyone has msn but to create ur own avatar is nice... but u can always use flash to make ur own.overall... its pretty desent
